About Paramount Appalachian
Eight inches wide and 84 inches long, Appalachian is a solid plank, 3/4 inch thick. It is European white oak with a beveled edge and a wire-brushed texture, finished with urethane and aluminum oxide in a low sheen. Three colors are offered.
Being solid hardwood, Appalachian is nailed or stapled down, and Paramount lists it for on or above grade. That means it is not meant for a below-grade basement. Living rooms, bedrooms and hallways are the natural fit.
